  1. I went to Shinzo Omakase a couple of weeks ago. It’s was pretty decent for $69.

  2. Sushi W and Sushi On Me are missing. Super affordable and delicious.

Hear us out, hear us out, hear us out, hear us out

  4. I just went to Thirteen Waters West. They’re supposed to get their liquor license soon; I don’t know if that would affect the price of the omakase, but may affect how busy it gets. The fish is so so good.

Anyone that puts Fuku Omakase is trust worthy

I enjoyed Sushi by M. They hit the toro with a blowtorch just enough to warm it without browning it, melting the fat into the rice. Probably one of my favorite bites of food I’ve had period.

  7. Sugarfish is really good, even if to many here it seems like a corporate chain, (it’s not, its a Californian family’s chain that grew from one spot to many.)

Is it the best, no and not by much, but at it’s price, it cannot be beaten.

Sushi Lin and Sushi Blossoms where great in September

I never tried Omakase, mostly because I don’t really eat most fish/meat, is it still worth doing? I would consider trying more fish if I did.

Cant believe omakase can be so cheap… I really don’t trust it 💀

Genki sushi is 95$/pp and it’s great.

Tsumo omakase is the best bang for your buck imo. Shinn east/west too

It’s not Omakase if they serve the same thing every night to every customer. It’s just a big Sushi Deluxe order.

Yokox in the East Village. New-ish spot with $89 omakase. It’s the best fish I’ve had in NYC- way better than some $500 spots that I’ve been to.

Sendo, and Omakase Sushi by No Name are good too
