This just opened on 8th Ave btw 39th & 40th, and it’s actually $1!
Which others are still $1?

[There’s a few.](https://slicemap.com) They’re rarely good, and the $1 slice will only be for the plain cheese. They’ll also have a whole row of other pies with toppings that cost more to entice you.

I think there’s still a dollar slice place at the 8th St. Waverly station on 6 Ave in the Village. In Williamsburg the Charleston Bar has dollar slices but that doesn’t count as a real store.

  3. There’s two across the street from each other at Willoughby and Jay in Brooklyn, and they both taste like you paid $1

There’s a spot at 55th and 7th that’s $1 for plain. It’s honestly pretty good (considering the price) and most times of day has a lineup. I prefer it to some of the more expensive pizza places around, if you’re just looking for a basic slice

If you see the sign, keep walking. When the $1 slice theme started 20 or so years ago, it was advertising cheap pizza in no frills, low rent space. I cannot imagine how they cut costs today to hit that point, even with overpriced extras.

Only real ones remember greys papaya $.50 hotdogs

How is this spot? They opened FAST.

But assuming you work in the area, the one on 40th btw 7th and Broadway is actually pretty solid.

I don’t know of any 99¢ slice shops, but I appreciate the $1.50 spot by me on Lexington between 45th/46th. I’m there several times a week.

  9. If this is the one I think it is then not even this one is actually $1 it’s $1.25 on the menu inside and they say that that’s just the sign they never bothered changing

Costco is like the best pizza deal, unironically

When I was at comic con years ago 2 brothers near the javits center had 2 slices and a can of soda for $2.50. It wasn’t good, but I was broke so it worked out.

The last I knew of was on 55th & broadway and that is now $1.50 – must have changed in the last few months.

It was actually pretty good too for a basic no frills slice. Some $1 place slices tasted awful, but that one was ok, and always busy.

When Fresh 99 in W4 closed $1 died for me.

I think a spot in Essex still does $1 slices at a certain time but I haven’t had a plain slice there in a minute to even remember. Valid tho

There’s one in the East Village on Ave A between 5th and 6th. For awhile they changed the cheese slice price to $1.50 and I stopped going because the lack of turnover meant your slice was much more likely to be gross. Now it’s a buck again and much better quality.

They’re everywhere in the city if you look between 5 to 6 years ago.

  16. TonderTales

There’s one on 14th that went up to $1.50 for a few weeks/months before going back down to $1. Trust me though, you get what you pay for with this particular spot. Rough slice.

There’s one around Broadway and 55th I like

  18. Nukekidnyc

If you split one with a friend most places are $0.75

Was heading to MSG to catch a Knicks game last year and got a $1 slice from 35th and 8th. But new photos from Google Maps seem to indicate they’ve raised their price to $1.50

Trash unless you’re a broke college student, spend 2-3$ more and get a decent slice from an actual shop

There’s plenty of $1.50 slice spots in Manhattan. The usual deal is 2 regular slices and a can for $4 cash. $1.50 Fresh pizza on 43rd and 3rd Ave in midtown is a good spot for a quick slice.
