    Pork $2.29/lb (clearance)
    Asparagus: $1.77/lb
    Carrots: $0.89/lb
Seasonings, etc, add up to around $3.50-$4.

That’s more than $4 a plate. I buy these pork chops and make a similar meal often. More like $8-9 a plate. Each thick cut chop is around $3.50-4 each. And i buy them very thick cut and the best price i can get them for. Even if you buy a family pack of 1 inch thick chops, it still comes out the same as far as cost. A few bucks for the carrots and probably $4-5 for the asparagus. At least for this amount. Before you make false posts please remember that we all cook too and have to buy the same items. And that doesn’t include the butter, evoo and spices. I don’t know if this is bot but its definitely false.
