My raised garden bed is filled with compost and homemade mixture of soil and peat moss.

It’s a 4x8x12” raised bed and the entire surface was filled with mushrooms. I plucked them all and added them to my compost.

I am currently filling and decompressing the soil so it’s not compacted. Is this fungus or mold an issue?

Interesting question. A fungus in Washington State is estimated to be the largest living thing ever. It helps the forest thrive. A mychoriaze(sic) fungus is sold to help root development. I opened a bag of potting soil with mold and my geraniums look fantastic. Nature abides. In other words not everything is bad, some things are vital to helping other things. Let it go and you may be surprised at the life of the soil.
