I visited the Museum of Flight, and they had the first Boeing Dreamliner on display. In the galley was this little pod machine and I thought I would share.

I had espresso one time in a flight, like 12-15 years ago, have no idea how they made it. It wasn’t too good.
But they had it in Continental BusinessFirst in select planes. Was a 767.

I’ve heard these machines come mounted to the fuselage and can never be cleaned. Ever since I’ve heard that I don’t drink coffees in air.

Had one from a machine in an AF AB350 despite knowing issues with coffee. I gambled on the fact that it was a young aircraft and the French took their espresso seriously.

Not gonna lie- it was pretty good!

I’m on the A330 and we have these too, although maybe not the exact same model. They are basically pod machines which take little soft pouches instead. Pretty rough coffee ngl.
