Cote, Miami

I tried the Butcher’s Feast ($74 per person) with added Japanese A5 Wagyu (+$32) with my partner. Definitely enjoyed the meal, but it didn’t feel too different from really great kbbq restaurants you’ll find in ktown.

The meat quality was exceptional and I understand that it is a differentiating factor, but given its Michelin star, I was expecting something a little more innovative in the dishes and experience.

Overall, great meal but didn’t quite live up to the high expectations.

  1. We were there recently again for brunch and loved it, good price even with the A5 it’s cheaper than most Michelin in Miami.

I had the same experience at the one in nyc. It was very good but didn’t feel Michelin Star worthy to me

Bbq on a gas stove rarely impresses me, give me charcoal!

Hoe can a yakiniku restaurant that just does traditional yakiniku have Michelin star? I mean come on.

Thank you!! Exactly my thoughts!! You shouldn’t get a Michelin star cause you source good meat. A star is supposed to be earned with cooking technique and creativity.

I went a last month to celebrate our friends engagement and we literally had our server attempting to cook our meat while being distracted by other tables. I’d be better off cooking my own steaks. How is that worth a Michelin star.

There’s plenty of Korean barbecue spots with A5 wagyu.

Yeah that’s wild that this has a star

You’re not completely wrong on the star but there are much worse offenders.
