Why aren’t you grinding into a dosing cup or something bigger?

Good to see someone with hands as shaky as mine

I get the humour of the video and have fond memories staring my journey with a Moka before jumping to a real espresso machine, but please keep the handle away from the element If you don’t want to melt the handle.

Moka has to be one of my least favorite ways of enjoying coffee. If I’m stuck I will reach for the French press as best alternative option to an espresso.

  7. Doing everything “correctly” is wrong with a Bialetti! 🤣 The nona’s overfill the basket and press it down while twisting the top on – also, adding warm water to the base? Who the hell has time for that!

I make mine the exact same way as you, but will never be a fan of the taste. It’s a fun experience every once in a while tho!

  8. How many times did you film this and drink the espresso before this take?

I won’t stand for moka pot disrespect tbh, that machine is a blessing and a joy

  10. Just observing how you have used the moka I would bet you are not Italian

  11. Lost it when you let the coffee boil, bet it tasted amazing lol

Great workflow. I have a 6 cup on so I find using a kettle to heat up the water and pre heating the base while the water is going and grinding the beans saves me a little time in the morning. Filtered water is def the way to go if you don’t pre-boil the water.
