I have been using the square and rectangle IKEA 365+ stainless steel food containers to hold my portioned meals, but so far I'm not very happy with the lid options they have. I bought all three of them to try and they're just not quite what I want. My gripes are:
Plastic: The plastic ones are just kind of annoying to fit in my dishwasher due to the plastic flappy thing, and they always collect gross dishwasher water in the lip of the lid.
Bamboo: This one is not dishwasher safe and gets pretty funky from food after a while. I have had an issue with food getting under the little silicone ring. Another thing is they press pretty far down into the container which means you can't fill them to the top.
Silicone: This one has a little nub on the top that prevents stacking the containers and the vacuum seal breaks if anything even lightly brushes up against it in the fridge.
So, my question is: Does anyone know of a press-on silicone lid that is compatible with these IKEA food containers? Not looking for those really stretchy ones, but rather something like this. I'm going to continue searching, but wanted to see if maybe someone has found something already. If you have, please share!
