    I would love to eat this as the description sounds incredible. However, the plating leaves much to be desired. It doesn’t look intentional at all. Amateurish, really. It’s an odd thing to see such fine food served so haphazardly.

    Okay the description sounds delicious. However as the others have said, plating and execution needs to be tighter. Firstly, I’d use a different plate that is not oblong. Also, your onion petals should be separated for a more refined look. All the shapes on the plate are very organic except the tots. I’d either have them remain square but have crisp sharp edges or (and what I think is the better option) make them round to flow with the plate better. Smart food, needs a little re-work to go from good to great.
