What do you enjoy? Because, well, it’s Champagne, so most foods that aren’t a giant hunk of meat, sweet, spicy or have an exceptionally intense flavour work fine.

But, really, it’s half a bottle of nice Champagne. It might be gone while dinner is still in the oven — and that might actually be for the best anyway.

Love Bruno Paillard. Don’t see that often enough here. I had this with caviar on a rösti a while back and thought that was a home run. To sub smoked salmon for caviar would probably work really well too.

What to eat with this depends entirely on how much effort you want to put in. As u/sercialinho says, pretty much anything is going to work.

Want to put in effort? A little potato pavé topped with crème fraîche and the nicest caviar you can find would be delightful treat with this.

Don’t want to put in effort? A bag of plain potato chips would slap with this, too.

You can pair a great deal with Champagne. Think about fried chicken, fries, hamburgers, oysters, caviar, crisps or seafood. And so much more, I wouldn’t stress too much about it.

My personal favorites are oysters, caviar and fried stuff.

Charred pork chops with a good glaze. Mashed potatoes and a green. Mmmmm
