Got some CostCo steaks. Had 3 different steak seasons.
Really proud of how these came out. Favorite was the bourbon smoked salt and pepper.
Bonus: steak sandwich for the last few days

How are you rating the seasonings, my man?!

All the steaks at my local Costco are “mechanically tenderized” – what’s that all about?

We need the complete report on the seasonings.
Are any of there flavors comparable to something at chain restaurants? What did you like or not like about each?

That seems like a lot just to make steak sandwiches.

These pictures should be saved and used as a standard as to why coarse seasoning is ASS for steaks. Notice how the first steak with the coarse seasoning doesn’t develop as nice of a crust. All that coarse seasoning prevents the steak from making good contact with the pan.
Coarse seasoning should only be used when added at the end of the cooking process with the aromatics. Not during the cooking/forming of the crust.

I give that a big BOOM!

Americans think salt and onion powder needs a brand name.
