Back in 2017, I quit my corporate job with the goal to get my life back on track. Soon after that, I created SHREDHAPPENS to hold myself accountable and track my progress. After a lifetime of yo yo diets that had led me to being 350lbs at one point, I decided to make healthier versions of my favorite foods that I was excited about. Instead of depriving myself, I fell in love with foods by incorporating a ton of spices, herbs, delicious sauces, and of course, lots of great veggies.
As my page grew a following, so did my passion for healthier eating and experimentation with cooking. I went from not even having salt and pepper in my kitchen to learning to love so many new ingredients.. and now having a cookbook.
