Sunday Reset

Here is a Sudnay Reset that looks a bit different. It was a highly requested video that shows what I would do if I didn’t cook on the Sunday. As I always want to be prepared for the chaos that the week brings, working with young kids, I show you what a no cook sunday reset looks like.

00:00 – Intro
00:20 – Shop with me including shopping list and budget breakdown
01:21 – What I do when I come home
02:14 – Prepping for the week and what I do with no cooking
05:20 – Monday Night – Satay Chicken with rice and roti
07:32 – Tuesday Night – Moroccan Chicken thighs with garlic mash and airfried brocolini and asparagus
10:49 – Wednesday Night – Slow cooked beef stroganoff with dill and butter pasta (lasted us two nights)
13:17 – Friday Night – Chicken Parma with wedges and salad
17:00 – Saturday Night – Creamy Pesto chicken and rice

Here is a link to all 5 dinners. I hope you love them if you try them! – https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TgspvsfZP8TgkiAnIvM7kNOqOVBxTZv4/view?usp=share_link

Please let me know if you enjoyed this and want to see more of the individual meals cooked throughout the week aswell as prep on the sunday.

As always thank you for watching!!

  1. I love your videos so much – and this format was great! I don't even have kids or a husband and don't come close to your level of energy to pull this off, but I'm definitely inspired!

  2. I'm loving the visual recipes and steps to everything you do. Can you please do this with all your videos ❤

  3. Love this format!! Great meals this week, now that I can see the satay I am definitely making it!

  4. I don't mind the new format, but I think the video should take up more of the screen than the writing, or maybe add the writing like subtitles over the video? I do look forward to this every week! ☺️

  5. This was great. 🎉 It’s good that you have abbreviated a few things so you don’t have to keep repeating yourself but also is still there for any new viewers. (Eg like what you wash fruit and veg in etc)

  6. Love your videos and loved this format. I need need to download your recipes, every Sunday I'm drooling over your meals lol

  7. Let me recommend this.. when you prep your chicken to freeze, you can also add a quick marinade to the container. When you thaw the meat it will be marinating while it thaws. I learned this from Becky at Acre Homestead.

  8. Im just greedy, and i want everything!
    I like both formats tbh.
I like having the ingredient list up on the screen.
I like cooking videos so seeing it cooked throughout the week was really fun.
But youre a busy mum of 3 kids, so im just appreciative of the time you put in, so my final thought would be -whichever is easier for you for each week

  9. Thanks for another video. Not sure how I feel with the beginning of the video. Was different. I’ll watch your videos no matter what you do.
My kids wouldn’t eat the Moroccan chicken dish all on the plate like that. They have sensory issue, it all has to be on actual platters separated and not touching. They love satay chicken so I’m going to give your recipe a well because I have all the ingredients on hand. See how that goes. Thanks for putting that recipe up on the screen, I screenshot it. 😊
    Have a good one.

  10. I'm a grateful subscriber, and I really love your content, but I'm going to be an asshat because I am an asshat about pronunciation… I'm so sorry, and I don't know why I can't let it go, but it's 'ROW-ti', as in, 'row your boat' 😢❤🩷❤️

  11. Genuine question here….do you think having a big kitchen/pantry/fridge makes it easier to meal prep? I have a family of 9 and a tiny kitchen. I just really struggle! Any tips? I love your videos and they're very inspiring for someone who really doesn't enjoy cooking.

  12. Definitely prefer this format… much more realistic for me. Can’t devote 3 hours of cooking on the weekend but so happy to be in the kitchen each night 👍🏼

  13. This is amazing. But I love both formats.
I love the batch cooking but I also love the no cooking meal prep.
I am so interested in how you organise cleaning and your home organisation as well

BUT I understand you work full time with 3 kiddos and hubby so whatever works for you I will love

  14. I have to agree with someone below, I want all the formats! I love all of your videos and quite often watch them multiple times. Thank you for sharing so much – it's fresh and fun and so easy to watch, understand, and try at home!

  15. Loved this, always get excited for your videos. This was a lovely change and for me dishing up food is my worst so it was lovely to see you dish it up.. I like both styles of videos ❤

  16. I love your videos it’s given me so much inspiration to get back into cooking ❤❤

  17. I like seeing the shopping list written up on the screen 🙂 Love the fast pace of all your videos 🙂 Mum of 2 from Melb SE suburbs, but live in Sweden. Nice to see some familiar Aussie groceries!
