Arancini – Crispy, Cheesy, Fried Rice Balls ✨ [recipe in description]

If Arancini is on the menu…. baby, I am ordering it. Let me tell you… these fried cheesy rice balls will have you doing the heel-toe on the kitchen table!

HERE’S HOW YOU MAKE IT 🛒📝

🔥 Day old white rice (preferably a starchier grain, like sushi or arborio)
🔥 Mozzerella Cheese Sticks
🔥 2 Eggs
🔥 Italian Bread Crumbs
🔥 Salt & Pepper to taste
🔥 Marinara Sauce
🔥 Oil, for Frying

Method: Add 1 cup of rice to a bowl, season as you please, add one egg. Use about 3TBSP of the mixture to create a ball, putting a piece of mozzerella cheese in the middle. Roll into a ball. Repeat until you’ve used all of your mixture, let set in freezer until ready to fry.

Meanwhile, In another bowl, add your italian bread crumbs. In another, whisk the other egg. Now, coat the rice balls in the egg, then roll in the bread crumbs. You can double bread if you please, but I prefer a single coating.

Heat oil to 375F, fry until golden brown. Serve with Marinara sauce and fresh shaved parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
