When I saw the first picture it reminded me of smoked sausage. I have a couple of very easy and tasty recipes that I make with smoked sausage , like sausage sweet potato apple and onion casserole, or my sheet pan dinner with smoked sausage and potatoes and onions and green beans. I sometimes make that one in a skillet.

Should not be allowed to call a hot dog sausage Italian sausage. A real Italian sausage can’t be sliced like that!
