So basically there wasn’t much growing anymore as I had loads of issues and a minimal harvest, mostly because of mistakes I know not to repeat again. So I decided to start some seedlings besides the late season gardening plan B (sowing radishes everywhere there was space). These two seedlings are a Rocoto Arequipa Giant and a Black Pearl. My reasoning behind picking them for an early grow, was that the Rocoto will grow slowly and the black pearl stays relatively small and I could transplant it into its final pot if it gets to big even in winter. I only risked it because I finally got a grow light after dealing with loads of leggy seedlings in the past. Only next years result will tell whether starting these two so early was a big mistake but I have many more varieties I will start during the usual time frame. For anyone wondering I live in zone 8a we’ve had temps below 50 at night but no frost yet and at the moment it has gotten warmer again with daytime temps reaching around 65 with some sun. Moved the seedlings inside though about 3 days ago.
