Decanted 6 hours. Dry as hell – strong tobacco and cedar nose. Very dark dry fruits, dry cherry and cranberry particularly. Leather, tobacco aftertaste. This is a serious wine. A very good effort for an off vintage. Stood up well against a steak dinner with bordelaise sauce.
