Last one is an experiment i guess.
For sure past its prime.
Just tastes like rasins and balsamic vinegar with a very light body and no structure
Have to love the gamble to drink wine like this

I feel like we pretty much never see updates on posts asking whether or not to drink something lol so props to you for popping them and trying them out!
Have you considered not decanting the wine? The oxygen in the carafe will accelerate the development of the old wine (which you probably don’t need).
Yeah, past 15 years and less than ideal storage, most wines will be gone or way past prime.
My friend is bring a DRC (I don’t know the year) tonight to dinner with rack of lamb. I am serving a 2015 Emile Henry riesling with the first course, and a Chateau D ychem with dessert….should be a good night. Worst thing is holding a bottle too long…..done it plenty of times.
