How can I cut this bonless pork shoulder down so I don’t have to cook it all at once? There’s 2 pieces, 8.5lb each.

Open it and cut corner to corner on each one. Will turn into 4 roasts (2 boneless, 2 bone in)

  2. It depends on the desired use of it i guess. What is your end game? If you doing a pulled pork application, you can just cut each piece into quarters or halves. With or without the grain doesnt matter for that type of cooking method.

Slice into 1 to 1 1/2 inch steaks. Vacuum seal and freeze what you won’t be eating this week.

Season/marinate and grill em up as needed

Well chain saw will work, a strong Jackie Chan chop, or the power of the mind if you think and stare at it hard enough…. After you recover from stroke ya gave your self take a sharp chef knife strong smooth down and back pull cut to size ya want properly store after

Cut it in one inch strips along the length to make boneless ribs and oven cook them low 220 degrees for 4 hours then baste them and broil them for 15 minutes.

Slice into 1 & 1/2 inch strips. Can make Chinese char Sui pork. Wife has done this a number of times and it’s great. YouTube char Sui recipes.

Just cook 1 of them and freeze the other. Freeze the left overs you have from the one you cooked

  8. For orientation, the top of the shoulder butt has the money muscle, which has the stripes of fat. [https://i.imgur.com/twkE938.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/twkE938.jpg)

I will cut about 1/3 to 1/2 of the top of the butt off, and this smaller roast is called a Coppa roast. It’s fantastic. [https://i.imgur.com/rSzSzUM.jpg](https://i.imgur.com/rSzSzUM.jpg)

What’re you planning to make? I do pulled pork so if I was doing small batches I’d slice once the long way in the middle then lop those two pieces in half the other way. There’s no need to worry about grain or cutting it perfectly since it’s pork butt. Also… Do you have a grinder? You could make good sausage links if you want or even patties… Mix with beef for meatballs. Lots of options.
