Any idea what this is? I have two indoor plants that are both showing this really fine speckling of yellow green. Plenty of the other leaves looks dark green and perfectly healthy. The leaves that show this discoloration are also more pliable. I thought it may be that they’re too close to the light, but it happens on the side away from my light as well. It isn’t all leaves, just some areas of the plants

Could be spider mites. Flip the leaf over…does it look sort of dusty, anything white tiny or webby?

It is towards the end of the season. It could be just that time to call it.

This is a mite problem! It’s RUSSET MITES. they target tomatoes specifically and they’re microscopic. You’ll need to 4x zoom on your phone to see them. But this is 10000% what your problem is, as someone battling them myself

    Like others said, mites.

But wanted to mention (just for others reading) that the term is “stippling” rather than “spots” — it helps a great deal on a google search.

The only time you’ll see that sort of thing without it being mites is when it’s thrips; but they’ll (usually) be on new growth vs older, and the damage looks slightly (but not a whole lot) different).

Anyways — mites are a real bitch to deal with; whatever you choose to use to address them, use a LOT of it, and use it OFTEN….don’t half-ass it with mites; go nuclear from the beginning 😉
