I'm still waiting to get my annova precision cooker pro back. It starting cutting out when the temperature exceeded 160.

So, let's see how good I can maintain temperature on my cook top.

    Don’t you need something to agitate the water so that the temperature is even throughout.

    Before I got my sous vide circulator I used a cooler and kept adding hot water to maintain the temp.
