This morning I made oatmeal. It's 2/3 cups of oatmeal with 1 2/3 cups water, and I added maybe 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, a handful of craisins, half a handful of walnuts, and a splash of vanilla extract and three tiny shakes of cinnamon!

    Not exclusively WFPB but striving. Make similar with soy milk, frozen berries chia & flax seeds and walnuts. Took some time for tastebuds to acclimate but now I look forward to it everyday. Btw my recent blood work has been great. On statin but being more WFPB I’ve halved total cholesterol, ldl and triglycerides. Hdl still low end but got some more lbs to lose.

    I like to put hemp hearts in my oatmeal … gives it a nice coarse crunch and the taste is perfect. Also frozen blueberries or cherries, as someone else mentioned. Never tried vanilla but I do cook it with vanilla flavored almond milk sometimes.
