My first two loaves! The first one was about a two day process (using this recipe https://grantbakes.com/good-sourdough-bread/#mv-creation-10-jtr)
the pumpkin shaped one is a same day bake:
Recipe calls for 150g starter (I only had 122g), 350g room temp water, 500g bread flour, 8g salt.
Whisked starter and water together, added flour and salt, mixed and let rest for 1hr covered with damp towel. Stretch and fold 4 times, resting covered in the microwave for 35-40 min in between.
Let it rest til doubled in size, for me was about 5.5hrs. Shaped and rested in Banneton while oven and DC preheated. Baked at 450: 25min lid on, 25min lid off
I think they turned out well for my first time! Any advice welcome!
