Jersey Mike’s is a stellar sub shop for a franchise, but Cheeba Hut blows them away.

They are the closet I can get a Publix sub here in Oregon.

Always gotta have them put mayo on both sides of the bread or the bottom gets way too soggy. That’s my only gripe with Jersey Mike. They are the goats

I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I’ll take Firehouse over JM any day. Prefer steamed bread.

Sourdough & Company is better but Jersey Mike’s is definitely good.

Travesty that they only have Mayo, oil/vinegar, and pepper relish for sauces. Ever heard of ranch…or grey poupon?

I just don’t do franchise crap. I’m surrounded by family owned pizza/sub places that bend over backwards to make you happy. Every national place is mid at best. Plus my money stays in the community and not sent to Bentonville,Arkansas

If you live in Michigan, Jersey Giants is by far my favorite franchise

i don’t know what it is but subway will always be my favorite, idk what is maybe nostalgia but nothing beats subway (in terms of chains) for me

Potbelly > anyone else. I had good Jersey Mike’s but I think they are just a bit too expensive. Potbelly has found the perfect balance between quality and price. Although they are getting stingier with BOGO offerings.

As a Canadian I always read the comments on sub franchise posts with incredulous awe because it sounds like the south is awash with sub shops, while up here we have like…Subway, and maybe a Quiznos here and there that’s somehow holding out after its heyday in 2004?

Wawa. Cheeba Hut. Publix. Jersey Mike’s. Ma Llewellyn’s Crusty Wonders. Kazoodles. Peppermill. Beep Booper. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. All sub shops.

I have Capriottis top, and Jersey Mike’s close second.
