That’s why every time I get produce or something that can spoil or be damaged, I reach to the very back.

That’s just standard inventory practice (moving the old product to the front to move it out before the new stuff with a longer shelf life.
Also, what would “hiding” their “good” Sriracha accomplish? Businesses typically prefer to sell things rather than not selling things.

The ones in the front are good. They had an issue where the peppers were too green this year.

The last couple bottles I have bought have a really bad almost rotten aftertaste. I recently saw the Underwood Ranches siracha somewhere and picked some up (the original farm where Huy Fong got their peppers). It has good flavor and heat, not exactly the same as the original stuff but it is at least 10 times better than the last couple bottles from Huy Fong.

Product spoilage, that place shouldn’t be selling it and can write they off actually.

Underwood ranches dragon sriracha is the “good sriracha”. It’s the farmer’s own brand using the original peppers. You can get it from costco

Huy Fong isn’t worth it anymore in my opinion, the quality varies and there are so many other options these days. Let along Huy Fong being a trash bag company.

it’s called stock rotation, it helps mitigat loss due to expiration. there’s nothing sneaky going on here.
