This Oregon Pinot’s label is in French. Was this slated for export and never made it?

I’d bet French Canada is more likely than France. Selling Oregon Pinot in France is like trying to sell sand at a beach.

This is an export to Canada. The EU’s label refs are different. The clue is the spelling of sulfites plus sulphites.

Canadian market.

Oh, Canada!

I’ve had a Celilo Grenache but never PN. That’s more like Cabernet / Merlot country overall.
Interesting and weird that they source grapes way over there (4 hour drive!) and then call it an Oregon pinot noir. No wonder it’s being exported.
Edit: my mistake — looks like Celilo Falls not Kennewick (it is made and bottled in Kennewick). I have a cold and my brain is dumb. Still nowhere near traditional Oregon Pinot Noir country, though.
