A page torn from BHG magazine April 1973 and filed under “salad”. Who’s brave enough to test it?

When Mom’s neighbor passed, I inherited her BHG binder from 1953. She earned a college degree in 1955, was a sorority sister, a teacher, a volunteer, a leader of a ladies church group. A true lady of her time, her accessories were always coordinated and she loved to entertain.
Thankfully I missed out on the chicken macaroni mold luncheon.

The ingredients are ok if I could try to untaste the lemon jello.

I’m seriously intrigued by this. I bet it’s not bad

I’m considering a modified version. Instead of using lemon jello, making a lemon dressing with lemon juice, mayo, rice vinegar, onion, salt, & pepper. It should be pretty good that way
