I avoided white rice for so long. Til I realized I can have a half cup serving and be satisfied, and fit it into my macros 😝! 384 calories.

    I’ve been combining 100 grams of cooked white rice with 150 grams of cauliflower rice. Can barely taste the cauliflower – just all rice. Been great to stay full and have β€œvolume” on my plate.

    Living in Asia, I eat rice all the time. I try to limit it to 100g cooked as a serving, but it’s great. I use that to make veggie/protein packed fried rice or rice bowls all the time. It’s easy to cook a batch & portion it for the fridge or freezer. Also, day old rice is healthier for you because the cooling process changes the starch.

    Don’t be scared of carbs. You just have to eat them in moderation like everything else.

    I recently discovered that sushi rice has slightly less calories than my usual Jasmine rice and it’s been very nice having rice with my meals again. πŸ™‚
