Picked up 7 dozen jars from someone on facebook market place today and found 4 tall, skinny jars (middle). I have never seen a jar this shape. I filled it with water and poured into the quart jar to see how much it fills. It’s about 1.25 pints? Can I can with this and just use the quart processing time since it’s downsizing? Thanks!

Yes. Those are 12oz jelly jars. I have a couple.
Yes, that’s a Ball pint and a half jar. They’re made for canning. Use quart jar processing times when you can in them.
Yes, you can use them for water bath canning or freezing (since they don’t have shoulders). The thing to remember is that you have to use a recipe that either calls for 12 ounce jars or you need to use the listed processing time for a quart jar.
Those were a lucky find, they are discontinued and people really like them! I find they are a great size for pasta sauce since a pint is too little sauce and I always have leftovers with quarts. I also really like them for freezing stock. Unfortunately I only have 9 of them that I inherited from my grandmother.
I use the 1.5 pint jars for hot pack chicken breasts, beef and pork cubes. Also wonderful for a couple of jars of ‘refrigerator’ mix (Dilly flavor) pickled asparagus. These must be refrigerated and have a shorter life, but are really crispy.
My favorite and discontinued jar. Good find!
All perfectly acceptable with proper lids & rings. Use new lids every time
