I am sorry, but I believe you walked into a tourist trap. Apart from the weird concept of serving three different kinds of pasta on the one plate (when most Italians won’t even put their side salad on the same plate as their pasta), no self-respecting Italian would serve *spaghetti* bolognese. Ragu from Bologna is served with tagiatelle.
I would also recommend a glass of wine or water, instead of sugar syrup.
