Idk about anyone else but I love soft Neapolitan pizza but more and more I've been preferring a nice crispy thin crust 😋.. also pairs well with beer

    This needs to be a thing in more places. The only tavern style I have around where I live is Pizza Hut (blech).

  3. I grew up in Illinois and this is the pizza I know. If you said to someone “you wanna get pizza” a sausage and cheese Tavern style is what you got.

    I moved to Louisiana 25 years ago and while the area I live is a food Mecca, pizza here sucks so I have always made my own Tavern Style to meet my pizza needs. If I hanker a thick crust, I make a Detroit Style.
