If you don’t have pork, bacon etc… You can make a delicious Bolognese ragù following this recipe:

Bolognese Sauce Recipe (2 servings)
– 250g lean ground beef
– 50g prosciutto (ham), finely chopped
– 1 medium carrot, finely diced
– 1 medium onion, finely diced
– 50-100gr peas
– 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
– 250gr tomato sauce
– 120ml white wine
– Salt to taste

Instructions:
1) Heat the olive oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
2) Add the finely diced onion and carrot and peas. Cook until the vegetables are soft and the onion becomes translucent, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3) Add the finely chopped prosciutto and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
4) Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a wooden spoon into small pieces. Cook until it’s well browned, about 5-7 minutes.
5) Pour in the white wine and let it simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated, about 3-4 minutes. Scrape any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
6) Add the tomato sauce and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.
Reduce heat to low, cover partially with a lid, and let it simmer gently for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Taste and adjust salt if needed. If the sauce becomes too thick during cooking, you can add a little hot water.
7) Enjoy with any pasta or bread you like
