Haven't been able to bake much cause I'm in grad school and have zero time, but I finally have a starter going again and made these loaves for Samhain with my family 😊

Super super proud of them and the flavor is very nutty ❀️

    Welcome back to this wonderful hobby! I’m glad you have rediscovered the joy of baking sourdough. It’s a wonderful thing indeed. If I may suggest something for your next bake, try letting it proof for a little longer to get a more even crumb structure. Happy baking!

    Nice oven spring! Could use a lil more fermentation time, the big holes are gas pockets that haven’t dispersed yet.
