Diane visits the source of the well-known Mediterranean Diet: Crete. For a glimpse of village life, she follows a local family’s daily routine of working the land and cooking up a storm and meets an unusual farmer who lives the way people did on Crete a hundred years ago. Learn how to roll up a grape leaf as easy as one-two-three.

My Greek Table is a journey through Greece’s mountains, islands, villages, and cities in search of the country’s most delicious, healthy recipes and raw ingredients. Diane Kochilas, the host of My Greek Table, is a native New Yorker who adopted Greece as her home more than two decades ago. With My Greek Table, Diane will shed light on one of the world’s oldest and healthiest cuisines.

  1. Crete is one of my most favourite places on earth. A true gem in the mediterranean! The sense of belonging that sharing a family meal gives is so precious. This is something we enjoyed this summer when visiting our friends in Athens. Every time we met we shared a meal together and this is what life is about, being with the people you love sharing good times together and us Greeks certainly do this very well.

  2. Thank you for this unique perspective on greek cuisine. Your whole series is amazing. You are both insider and outsider, capable of knowing really authentic local cuisine and making it available for everybody.
