I really love my local mill/bakery, so when they had a pie contest/social to refurbish a community building they own, I thought yeah!
I made an apple pie. I am just a pie fan lol, not a professional by any stretch of the imagination!
I worked really hard on it over an evening and the next morning, but never expected to win in a million years! I am so flattered!
My mom said she was really proud of me. =)

That’s so cool! I wish I could get good enough to do cool designs on top like that. I usually just put a streusel topping on, which is a bit of a cop out haha
