Hey guys! Today we are making Philly Cheesesteaks (my way!!) on the Blackstone 36” culinary series (from Lowe’s).
We use “Philadelphia’s finest” meat slices which we get from our local Restaurant Depot (Jetro) here in New Jersey. I do recommend these if you can’t slice ribeye yourself. They are bit better quality than Steak Umms you’ll find at the supermarket. Most diners, pizza shops, and sub shops like Jersey Mike’s use this Philadelphia finest style of meat. Only the super traditional places use actual sliced ribeye so if you want a restaurant quality cheesesteak that won’t break the bank this is a great option.
The entire 10lb box of these slices came out to $32 so for $3.20 a lb it’s a very reasonable deal. Especially with inflation the way it is today! Give it a try!!
