  1. Cardboard box, warm place. Check them every couple of days.

for what? Every tomato you buy in the store, just about, was picked like this. No need to pray. Just need to be patient. Toss an apple in there if you want to ripen these faster btw.

Toss in a ripe banana in there to speed up the process!

Fried green tomatoes aren’t bad, either. With some ranch or bar b q or marinara dipping sauce.

I suggest roasting them in the oven with onions, peppers, and garlic, then turn them into a creamy green tomato soup.

I left all of my green Chef’s Orange tomatoes on a table outside after taking the plant down about a month ago.

Not on purpose, just was low priority and they’re not my favorite so I’m not worried about critters getting them.

So surprised that 90% of them have ripened! Haven’t tasted to see if there’s a difference yet.

I’m in nor cal 10a fwiw.

I put min in a cardboard box and they are still rippening. So fast I can’t keep up and some are turning. I’m about to learn to make sauce tonight because of it

To me that looks like a few lovely jars of green tomato relish.
