What a coincidence, I just walked by Mhel yesterday and was curious what it was! I shall add it to the list ☺️

Waiting on th WestJet list to drop, and then maybe the Porter, and maybe even the Ryan Air one. Everybody needs a list!

Mhel is awesome- I think they’ll get a star soon. Takja is fun and good – very similar to Cote in NYC/Miami on a bit of a smaller scale. Bar Prima and Fat Rabbit are on my list to try.

Three of my favourite current Toronto restaurants that aren’t impossible to book…..and that’s all over now.

Time for me to “that person” in this thread.
I went to Fat Rabbit for dinner earlier this summer as I was out that way, one weekend. It was…..ok? The space is cool (that pocket of St. Catherine has seen better days, I assume), service was very good but the food was just….ok.
Ended up being there in September again, and had breakfast (limited selection) and that was even more average.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Bar Prima. Worth every penny!
Amazing service, vibe, decor and every dish was great.

A crappy marketing blog recapitulates Air Canada and posts it on Reddit. Who cares about BlogTO’s fake journalism?
There are so many fantastic restaurants in Canada that don’t pay airlines or marketing blogs to promote them.

I am really surprised by how much people like Mhel. I went and thought the food was just alright and found the value for the price to be really off the mark.

I was extreeeeemely underwhelmed by Bar Prima and was surprised to see them on this list. The space is beautiful but the food was very underwhelming. One dish we had was insanely salty and the pasta we tried was past al dente and into the inedible zone. Also I am someone who doesn’t mind paying more money for good food but I found the prices high even for Toronto.
Curious if anyone feels the same as me or if maybe I was there on an off night?
