long time lurker no more! where do we think these two steaks land on the doneness continuum? rare and medium rare? medium rare and medium? both were delicious, but i’m still curious to get a consensus.

    to me they look medium rare, don’t use a flash it doesn’t help much. use better lighting. good job, the side you chose seems good too. 7/10

    Looks great ! First one is a little rare could’ve used a little longer for mid rare, maybe a few min more resting, and the second looks like medium- so just maybe 2 min less

    Great crusts, and slicing as well. Keep it up!

    first steak is a touch under and second is a touch over but neither temperature is egregious imo! i’m distracted by the side. kale and onions? haven’t seen tht before haha
