Turkey Tenderloins with Onion & Pepper Balsamic Glaze
4 (12 ounces each) turkey breast tenderloins, thawed if frozen
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon olive oil
SAUCE:
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon flour
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1/4 to 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar glaze, to taste
1/2 cup onion & pepper relish*
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Sprinkle the turkey tenderloins with salt and pepper. Brown the turkey and cover and cook five minutes per side or until a thermometer reads 165° internal temperature. Remove turkey to a platter; cover to keep warm.
In the same skillet, heat another Tablespoon of oil over medium high heat. Add the onions, salt, and pepper. Cook until tender. Add the flour and cook a couple of minutes to make a rue.
Add the chicken broth and stir to loosen the brown bits from the pan. Stir in the balsamic vinegar and relish (or jam). Bring to a boil; cook 4 to 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Serve with the turkey.
* A variety of jams or relishes could be substituted in place of the onion and pepper relish.

Received your cookbook today!! I can’t wait try each and every recipe.
I’ll have to look for the turkey tenderloins. Butterball is a favorite.
Thank you for sharing.
Looks delicious. Could you make that layered salad on video?
Balsamic vinegar vs balsamic vinegar glaze are two different things. You I think used "balsamic vinegar glaze" not pure balsamic vinegar if I am correct and is what your recipe calls for. You refer to it as balsamic vinegar in your video. Great recipe and video. I did not know there was such a thing as Turkey Loins. Will have to look for the Butterball ones.
I got my cookbook today! What a beautiful publication and I love that it is spiral bound. You did a fabulous job!
Just a curiosity question, why do you keep 3 empty butter dishes by your stove? Love your videos.
Where do you find the tenderloins? Used to buy but can't find anymore.
How about a good, non-corn bread dressing recipe?
Looks delicious
Omg! I always like to try new recipes I’ve watched on your channel on my sons’ families. I tell them they’re my “guinea pigs”. Wow! This recipe is definitely a keeper. I served it with roasted broccoli and my son put some of the sauce on that. My local market didn’t have the onion pepper jam, but they had the pepper jam, and it was great, especially since there are onions in the sauce. Thanks for the great recipe that was a big hit.
You explain cooking way better than anyone. You are such a perfectionist. Some cooking shows they just start throwing the ingredients in without measuring, and before you know it, I'm staring at the tv and lost. Anyway, you must have been a great teacher because every once in a while, I'll feel like raising my hand to ask you a question. 🙋♀️
Wow, I always thought making tenderloin was so difficult, you just make it look like easy peasy. Thanks
Are you reprinting your cookbook. I missed out the first time. Soooo sad.
Outstanding looking!!!!! 💙😋💙
I need to get that t-shirt for my nephew. Where did you get it?
I’M SORRY TO ASK YOU ON THIS VIDEO, BUT I CAN’T FIND ANY OTHER WAY TO CONTACT YOU. I BOUGHT YOUR COOKBOOK AND NEED TO KNOW IF THE BAKING SODA/BAKING PIWDER RECIPES NEED TO BE ADJUSTED FOR HIGH ALTITUDE? LAST CHRISTMAS FOLLOWING YOUR MEASUREMENTS I BAKED YOUR CRANBERRY BEAD RECIPE. IT OVERFLOW IN MY OVEN AND STARTED A FIRE. NO SERIOUS DAMAGE WAS DONE THANK GOODNESS! I ADJUSTED THE RECIPE. IF YOU’LL PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION IT WILL SAVE ME A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY.
After your meatloaf video I searched and found the Harry and David’s on Amazon! I bought it and tried your meatloaf and it was the best we eaten. I think we’ll be trying this turkey recipe! We love your channel congratulations on your success and wishing you many more success.
