I don’t have much to say other than it was the best fish ‘n’ chips I think I’ve had in Austin. The sausage roll was really tasty, buttery, and flakey…but the fish ‘n’ chips, and homemade(?) tartar sauce were delectable. I had an Irish coffee (strong! 🤩) and my fiancé had a hot toddy. The service was really friendly & I enjoyed all the locals & regulars socializing—it had a real pub feel for Central Texas. Very warm & inviting outside of the booth that was directly under the AC vent 😂. The only thing we didn’t care for, although still found the quality uncompromised: the shep bites, which we thought were fairly bland.
Very eager to return. Thanks to the redditors that have shouted this place out!
