Crispy Kytti’s Cauldron is a new sauce company by a Redditor with a lot of creative sauces based on RPG/Fantasy themes. I always love trying new sauces from new companies, and since this was made by a fellow Redditor and r/hotsauce contributor I ordered the entire line.
This sauce is one of her milder ones, with a Jalapeño, Serrano, and Poblano base. I believe all of the sauces are fermented as well which gives a nice additional layer of flavor.
This one has a big fresh “green” flavor which is something I always look for and love in a green sauce. The use of white wine vinegar instead of distilled gives a nice soft pleasant acidity without any harshness.
You can really taste the peppers which is always important, and this includes some nice herbs like rosemary and thyme, which takes it away from the typical Mexican style green sauce and makes it something uniquely delicious.
I loved this on pizza, some tacos, and on a cheesesteak I had last night. It adds a big punch of fresh flavor without overwhelming with heat, which is sometimes what I want.
They’re available at http://crispykyttis.com, and just based on this first sauce I’ve tried I can strongly recommend them.

Very cute label, have to give it a shot
Looks neat. Might have to grab one of the spicier ones to put in my stocking for Chrimbo.
I’ll check this out!
Thank you very much for the review! I’m glad you liked it!
