A step-by-step guide to making sofrito! I get a lot of questions about the frozen green cubes in my vids and how I make them and this is it 😌
Also I forgot to add onion to this batch but per the recipe below add 1 onion!
INGREDIENTS:
1 bunch culantro
1 bunch cilantro
1 white onion
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
1 cubanelle pepper (or 1 Anaheim pepper)
2 aji dulce peppers (or sweet red peppers)
½ cup olive oil
3 heads of garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp oregano

🙋♀️genuine question from a Japanese-Canadian woman who loves to learn about Caribbean cooking but unfortunately barely knows nothing about it…How do we use this beautiful sofritos after this seemingly very aromatic and delicious process? I’d love to lean! I can already see this calling my name in joy 🤩 ❤
