You don’t have to deprive yourself of yummy foods ❤️

    This morning I was craving fat for whatever reason, and I try to listen to my body so I made sure I got some in my breakfast. I sometimes see people believing there are foods they simply can’t eat on a lower calorie diet, and it’s just not true!

    I had a slice of toasted sourdough topped with smashed avocado, a slice of real uncured bacon, lemon juice and everything bagel seasoning, plus one hard boiled egg (there are 2 in the photo – I was satiated so I saved one for my salad for lunch). With everything weighed out this came to about ~315 calories and it was so filling and delicious and left me feeling anything but deprived.

    (It’s not super high protein but that’s fine, I’ll get more of that later on! I’m still doing the old fashioned ~1 to 1.5g per kg body weight anyhow, not trying to pack in 100+ grams per day.)

    I fucking LOVE a really good hardboiled egg, especially when I’m working on losing weight. Super healthy but something about it feels almost decadent to me, especially when topped with big, flaky sea salt.

  3. You sure don’t! Loveee eating my fats, but they make a big dent in the calories haha
