Oil spilt in the hopper – partner stored it in there whilst we went away for a week
Now turns on for about 15 seconds but keeps tripping
Blows airs and igniter gets hot

Is this fixable? How to get it repaired? Based in NT – Australia

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

Update – fuse replace, no oil on the electrics, auger cleaned out and still not working.

Probably no saving it but still have hope and not keen on buying another as this one is a few months old

Replace the auger motor. They’re like $20.

I have to know more about how someone spills oil into the hopper

As someone looking at purchasing a pellet grill, why spilled oil bad here?

It’s the fire rod. Replace it and it will stop. I had a similar issue with my grill tripping
