I came from a family that baked bread growing up, so it’s never been much trouble for me. I’ve had a sourdough starter for a while but generally just abuse it/keep it alive from week to week (or longer…). I was inspired to start baking actual loaves again when a coworker of mine started posting her loaves on Teams, so here’s my attempt at a honey-oat wheat bread. (I have a very favorite non-sourdough recipe that I was hoping to replicate. This one isn’t the same, but it is tasty.)

I cut into it when it was hot because my son and I were both starving. [Here’s the recipe](https://www.pantrymama.com/honey-oat-sourdough-bread/) I used.
Beautiful!
All those oats makes it look like you’re looking to feed birds? I mean how many calories/ flavor can those oats really contain??
