Jus built mine today. Did yours come somewhat pre built?
The pellet hopper was installed on mine as well as a few other steps on the instructions already being done. It’s never been used but I wonder if they updated the manufacturing process or if mine is not really new somehow.

I picked mine up from Cabela’s and it came out of the box with the hopper already installed. Therefore I had the same concerns. It appears that units shipped by freight are shipped in 2 separate boxes, hopper in second box. Units picked up from retail are shipped in one box. Therefore the reason for the hopper being installed already.
