I did actually try the Toll House recipe years ago soon after obtaining the book, as did many of my family members. We all decided we prefer some other “chocolate chip cookie” recipes we’ve tried. None of us are pros so your mileage may vary from ours! 🙂

50 cookies? They must have been very small back then because the recipe calls for half the ingredient volume than the modern version.
