Pizza matta has boog thin crust but you need to buy a whole pizza and their meatball sub is top notch

I think there is a Dante’s in the area, they have a solid slice.

Middlebrow makes some excellent sourdough pizza, but they recently jacked up their prices. We’re talking $27 for a pepperoni pizza small enough that an average adult could eat it on their own and not feel like a glutton.

Get there during happy hour and it’s half price though. I’m a next door neighbor and that’s the only way I visit them anymore.

Dante’s and Pizza Matta are great recs. Not a huge fan of Pizza Lobo but it’s pizza I guess.

Festa. It isn’t ground breaking – but it’s consistent and it hits.

Roasti’s is hot garbage. Stop along is right next to you, go in.

    Dante’s, Pauline Gee’s, Vito & Angelo’s, StopAlong

I really wish they didn’t sell a slice in those containers. Every Saturday and Sunday morning the streets around that area are trashed with them.

< Paulie Gee’s, but Jet’s is awesome as well.

All of these are great recommendations honestly and can’t go wrong with either one. I do think that a whole pie from Pizza Lobo, Paulie Gees and Middlebrow is hella expensive for what you get.

Having said that check out out the TooGoodToGo app. It’s got Paulie Gees (both locations), Dante’s and Pizza Friendly Pizza. For $5-7 dollars you get 2-4 slices of random pizza that you can try out. Tipping is optional and I usually just leave a dollar or 2 if they load up my to go bag.

Middle Brow Bungalow has been called some of the best in the country. I don’t know about that… But the first time I tried it before the accolades and because I love their beer – I was confused how delicious it was

I heard that Rosati’s was a a spite store meant to take down Boiler Room. Which it did. And I happily bought Rosati’s routinely to support the spite.  Boiler Room fell off in most miserable way – bummer to go out like a turd when they were one of the coolest spots around. The original PB&J was $7.50…
