    2009 Château Lynch Bages
PnP, then later decanted over the course of 2 hr
Nose of cassis and chocolate, with hints of graphite and leather
Medium-bodied, with a core of tobacco and cassis, with herbal notes coming on towards the 1 hr mark
    Grippy tannins
    Super long, chocolatey finish
Felt like I committed infanticide. This still has a long, long way to go before it’s fully ready

I see lunch bag, I upvote, but agree this is a fetus

I have a 2014 in the cellar. It’s not the best vintage but also not the worst. I’m wondering how much longer to wait on that one.

Useful to know. I have a case of the 09 and all the notes on cellar tracker say too closed now. Will hold
